A poetic symposium in memory of Ghulam Rasool Qamar Hayatpuri on his 2nd death anniversary was observed here today. A large number of poets, from various parts of the district, took part in the symposium, and read out papers on life and works of the late poet.
District Development Commissioner, J.S. Pachnanda who was the chief guest on the occasion, said, that “all great revolutions which took place in the world have been inspired by the poets.
Among others who attended the function included, Pardeep Khanna, Babu Noor Mohd. Noor, Mehmood Hassan, Sharaz Kirmani, Darshan Bharti, Zaheer Rana, Ayaz Saif, Riyaz Sabir, Mehmood Tahir, Jalil Ghazi, Lal Hussain, Gowhar, G.S. Ghulshan, Mohd. Sharief, Anwar Khan, G.M. Mir, K.K. Kapoor, Chib, Mohammed Ali Mir and Molana Munir Jafari.
