A prisoner was killed in an encounter with the police when he tried to escape in a Bolly -wood style.
According to reports, prisoner Mubarak Hussain S/o Ghulam Mohd of Tanda, Pouni Chak involved in murdering of Lambhardar of Pouni, was being brought to the court for hearing under police custody in a Vehicle. Near, Tikri, the prisoner he pretended for natural call, which was granted. While, coming down from the vehicle, he snatched riffle from Havaldar and started firing on police party accompying him. In the encounter he was killed. His body was handed over to his family after conducting the postmortem.
