| BDF demands inquiry into misuse of funds by BDA | | |
DODA JULY 16 Demanding inquiry into the alleged misuse of funds by the Bhaderwah Development Authority during the recently concluded Bhaderwah festival, the Bhaderwah Development Forum has charged the government of what it called posting incompetent and corrupt officers in the district, especially the Bhaderwah town.
Addressing pressmen here today the Front demanded an inquiry into the misuse of funds by BDA during the festival.
The Front leaders Hafeez Khateeb and Koshal Dogra blamed Chief Minister for posting ‘inefficient’ officers in various departments in the district alleging that these officers are mostly interested in amassing wealth by foul means rather than serving the people
The Front leaders also demanded grant of district status to Bhaderwah besides shifting SSP’s office there as DIG has already been posted at the district headquarters as also shifting of DIET office to Bhadewrah which was shifted to Kishtwar some years back The BDF also demanded that Bhaderwah-Basoli road should be thrown open for traffic
