JKNPP General Secretary Anita Thakur in a statement issued here today has leveled serious charges against the state government in ignoring the Migrants of Doda, Udhampur, Rajouri, Reasi, Pouni and Talwara.
She said, the state government has defied the Supreme Court order of July 2005, directing the Government to provide relief to Jammu migrants at par with Kashmiri migrants.
Anita said, even the Prime Minister who inaugurated housing colony for Kashmiri Migrants here yesterday, has totally ignored the plight of Jammu Migrants. She said about 2200 families of the migrants are living in a horrible condition for the last eight years.
