| Unidentified body recovered, man electrocuted | | |
Srinagar July 16 Police today recovered an unidentified body from Veshu rivulet near Aharbal in South Kashmir, while a PDD employee was electrocuted to death when he was re-paring some fault at Grid Station at Sheeri in Baramulla.
The identity of the body retrieved from Veshu is being ascertained as police has started inquest after registering a case under relevant acts, official sources said..
They said that a male body was spotted by people in the vicinity and informed the police. Later a police team from Kulgam reached to the spot and retrieved the body.
Meanwhile, a PDD employee lost his life while performing his duty.
Sources said that one Abdul Rashid Teli, son of Mohammad Sultan, resident of Wadoora Sheeri was electrocuted at Grid Station in Sheeri Baramulla when he was repairing some fault. Police has taken cognizance into the matter and started investigation.
