| PCB notifies calendar for disposal of NOC, consent cases | | | JAMMU, JULY 17 - Jammu and Kashmir Sate Pollution Control Board (PCB), Srinagar has notified the two months calendar for disposal of No Objection Certificates (NOC) and consent cases in PCB for regional, district and central offices. According to Chairman PCB receipt in regional, district offices will be for one day, dispatch to district office, processing in district offices and receipt back from district office to regional Jammu will be for 14 days. Processing and compilation of cases in regional office will be 10 days, dispatch to central office and receipt in central office will be for 5 days. In central office, receipt and processing upto Member Secretary level will be for 7 days, submission to Chairman and clearance for 7 days, final disposal for 7 days and communication of decisions will be for 9 days. The Chairman has informed that any case which may be complicated or may require comprehensive studies and as such cannot be disposed off during 2 months shall be dealt by Central Technical Committee. Reasons of delay in such cases are to be clearly spelt out and to be communicated to the unit holders. The final decision even on these cases is to be taken within the UCM guideline period of 4 months in such a way that it is communicated to the entrepreneurs timely, he added.
