-Division Commissioner, Jammu Mr. Sudhanshu Pandey functioning of various departments, paid a surprise visit to the office of Director, School Education, Administrator, Kala-Kendra and the Principal, College of music and Fine Arts and interacted with various officers. A number of suggestions were given to improve upon the functioning of respective departments.
Earlier, a visit was also paid to the office of Director, Economics and Statistics which is responsible for collecting, organizing and analyzing data and information for whole state of J&K. The department has been entrusted with a very important role and function as one of the central pillars of the entire planning process. It was also emphasized that there is a definite need to share the vast resources of information with the public, Entrepreneurs, Educational Institutions and NGOs to seek their partnership in the process of development and job-creation.
