| Lawyers bandh complete | | | Jammu, Aug 11 The striking lawyers here today observed a Jammu bandh protesting against the alleged denial of right of defence for the accused in the high-profile sex scandal case in the Kashmir Valley.
All trade, transport and other organisations supported the call. No vehicle was seen on the roads as agitated lawyers and their supporters staged a 'chakka jaam'.
The lawyers are demanding transfer of cases relating to the infamous sex scandal to Jammu.
Meanwhile, the strike entered the 45th day today and the judicial work in local bench of Jammu and Kashmir High Court and other lower courts remained paralysed. |
