Mahindra Renault launches ‘Logan’

The Logan from Mahindra Renault was inaugurated by Shahid Baksh managing director of Chowdhary Motors at its new showroom near Sweet Home apartments here today.
Mahindra Renault unveiled 7 variants of Logan at Chowdhary Motors Narwal Bye Pass Jammu. The model include Logan 1.4GL, 1.4 GIE, 1.6GLX 1.6GLS and all petrol driven priced at Rs 4.43 lakh Rs. 4.86 lakh, Rs. 5.41 lakh, Rs. 5.83 lakh respectively. The diesel variants are Logan 1.5 DLE, logan 1.5DLX, 1.5 DLS, priced at Rs. 5.62 lakh, Rs 6.17 lakh and Rs.6.58 lakh respectively. Logan will raise the bar further in the mid size segment of the Indian car market. Logan offers great value to the inspirational buyer who wants more features at a lower price. Features such as rear door trim with fabric and body side moulding enhance the styling of the vehicle.
Talking to Early Times Yash Sharma, GM, sales said that Logan is manufactured by Mahindra and Mahindra Ltd at its Nasik plant that has an installed capacity to produce 50000 units annually in two shifts. The car is designed for the Indian market incorporating a contemporary styling and design. The Logan is available in six colors.
He further added that Logan is a wide bodied car and offers comfortable seating for three persons in the rear seat and has a boot capacity of 510 liters, which is the best in its class. Despite its spacious dimensions, the vehicle is relatively light weight.
Logan has been adapted to suite the Indian driving conditions. The air conditioning that prevails in the Sub-continent, he added.
