| Peerzada hails NC decision to support Pratibha’s candidature | | |

Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress committee President Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed has hailed the decision of National Conference leadership to vote UPA candidate Pratiba Patil in the Presidential election.
Welcoming the decision of the NC working committee and legislature party to vote for secular and democratic UPA alliance in the tomorrow’s Presidential election,the PCC President described it a right decision of the party in tune with the principles of secularism and the need of the hour for all secular and democratic forces, he said, was t5o work together and defeat the challenges of the forces of terrorist and secessionism in the state.
Sayeed said that all secular and democratic forces should cooperate and extend full support to the Congress led government in the state to mitigate the sufferings of the people and to accelerate all round development with the liberal support of present central government in order to make it prosperous state.
