To promote scouting movement in Jammu and Kashmir State, President of India Dr. APJ Abdul Kamal presented National Award to S. Sehaj Singh, state training commissioner, Jammu of Bharat Scouts and Guides association at Ashoka Hall of Rashtrapathi Bhawan, New Delhi.
President Kalam is also chief patron of Bharat Scouts and Guides.
