| DGP Khoda Inspects various Wings of PHQ | | |
Srinagar July 19 - Mr. Kudleep Khoda, who took over as Director General of Police J&K, yesterday, inspected various sections of Police Headquarters (PHQ) here today and impressed upon various functionaries to work with more devotion and dedication.
Those who accompanied the Director General of Police included Inspectors General of Police, Mr. P. L. Gupta, Mr. J. A. Makhdoomi, Mr. Mohammad Amin Shah, AIG (Personnel) Mr. Abdul Qayoom Manhas, Director Prosecution, Mr. R. S.Abrol. AIG (T&I), Mr.Vijay Kumar and other officers
Mr. Khoda interacting with senior officer and officials during the inspection impressed upon them to ensure prompt disposal of day-to-day matters to serve the people in the best possible manner, that would invite goodwill among the masses, he added.
The Director General of Police also took stock of logistic facilities available at Police Headquarters and shared his views with senior officers of Police Headquarters.
He said that welfare of the employees of the police force and better service to the general public would be his priorities as a new Police Chief and added that the functionaries of the force would be made more responsive and accountable before the people. He also said that restoration of peace and maintenance of law and order would also be accorded priorities under his supervision.
