Two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists were killed by police in a gun battle in Poonch district on Thursday, official sources said.
Acting on a tip off, police and security personnel launched a cordon and search operation in Beri Rakh area of Mendhar Teshil in Poonch district late on Thursday afternoon, they said.
During the operation an encounter took place in which two LeT terrorists were killed, they said adding that two KA rifles and some explosive material was recovered from the spot by police
