| Speaker adjourns house as NC, others create uproar over HR violations | | | Srinagar, July 20: Main opposition National Conference members today created uproar in Legislative Assembly blaming of government of being instrumental in increasing graph of human right violations in the state. Soon after the house met for today's business, leader of the opposition Abdul Rahim Rather drew the attention of the Speaker towards the HR violations taking place across the state. While referring towards some HR violation cases in the House one by one, Rather moved adjournment motion. Earlier members mostly from Jammu led by Harsh Dev Singh of panther party, stormed in the well over non adherence of government to the assurances given in the house. Harshdev blamed that one of the Bureaucrat holding a key post misbehaved with him when he asked about the progress on a particular assurance made during the last Budget session. He said , the officer told him that the assurances make hardly any sense for him and even tore the papers he3 presented to the officer. National conference members were on their toes blaming the government for HR violations. All NC members stood on their feet to make their point across. The members were condemning the government for providing free hand to security forces. In complete chaos, the speaker adjourned the House till for one hour .
