| Grenades rock Srinagar, target CRPF | | | Jammu, July 20: As the political heat picked up in the summer capital with noisy scenes in the assembly, militants too made their presence felt with an explosive attack close to the legislature complex. However, later in the evening three grenade blasts rocked the Dal Gate area and one exploded near a hotel on the Boulevard road. One person was injured when militants hurled a grenade on a Central Reserve Police Force picket near the Jammu and Kashmir legislature complex in Srinagar this afternoon. Some unidentified miltants lobbed a hand grenade at Hari Singh High Street. The grenade exploded on the road-side causing injuries to a civilian identified as Bashir Ahmed son of Abdul Aziz a resident Dalgate Srinagar. While the injured was immediately shifted to hospital, Police has registered a case in this regard and has launched a manhunt to nab the culprits. In evening at around 7:30, some unknown miltants lobbed a grenade from Hill side towards Hotel Boulevard, Battalion Headquarters of 114 Bn CRPF.
