| CM assures ousted Excise employees for early settlement of the demand | | |

A deputation of ousted class-IV employees of Excise and Commercial Taxes department led by its State President, Adil Rashid Khan along with Civil Secretariat Employees President, Nazir Ahmed Mir called on CM in Srinagar, yesterday and apprised him about the burning problem of the ousted employees.
According to Association handout Chief Minister is reported to have assured the deputation that a committee would be shortly constituted to look in to the issues raised by the ousted employees.
On this occasion, Minister of Health and Medical Education Mangat Ram Sharma and R& B Minister Gulchain Singh Charak was also present. It is pertinent to mention that the ousted excise and commercial taxes employees are on a peaceful demonstration for the last 171 days and are demanding re absorption and regularization as they have already put more than nearly a decade service.
