| Belam’s maiden Punjabi album to hit market soon | | | By Ajay meenia R.S.Pura | July 20 The villagers do not lag behind in any field may it be singing, dancing or any other event. This has been rightly proved by Sat Paul Belam of village Gagian, an upcoming super star, whose album is ready for the launch. The young Sat Paul, an upcoming Punjabi pop singer and lyricist, has proved that super stars are not only found in cities but in villages as well. His first Punjabi Album (Lalkara Mundeyan Daa) will be in the market very soon. The people of the village and nearby areas are very excited about their local star’s album and the entire population of the R.S.Pura town, especially the young generation, is eagerly waiting for the release of his first album. While talking to Early Times, Sat Paul said that he has been writing and singing from the age of 15 years. So far he has written more than 100 Hindi and Punjabi songs and has performed many stage shows in Punjab receiving great applause from the audience. He said due to active support of the listeners he has been able to complete his first album. It has eight songs and all of these are based on different moods. Born in the house of Shadi Lal of Jalandhar (Punjab), Sat Paul considers Mohammed Rafi, Gurdass Mann, Hans Raj Hans and Harbhajan Mann as his Gurus. He wants to follow the footsteps of the great singers and bring fame for himself, his family members and above all to the entire nation. He said that his wife is encouraging him at every step adding that his two kids Anu Radha and Praveen Kumar are very lucky for him. He said that after the launch of his maiden album, the second album of the series would be ready till then adding that it is almost nearing completion. Sartaj, Mintu, Sachin, Jatinder and Nittu, while talking to EARLY TIMES, said that they are proud of a young singer hoping that he would entertain the people for many years with his melodious and heart throbbing voice. ‘Belam has proved that stars are not only born in cities but also in villages’, they added.
