| Two golf associations get permanent affiliation | | |

Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association has granted permanent affiliation to state Golf Associations namely Golf Association of Jammu and Kashmir and Association of Jammu Kashmir State Golf.
I B Singh Hony Secretary General Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association said here today that these two associations formed four years ago were provisionally registered with Golf Association and were earlier given provisional affiliation for a period three years.
He said that these associations were permanently affiliated with J&K Golf Association along with J&K Amateur and Professional Golf Association last year and with this the three golfing bodies stand registered with Jammu and Kashmir Golf Association, the premier body in the state.
He said the J&K Golf Association has also the honor of winning Gold and National Golf Championship- 2003 in men’s category.
While highlighting the activities of the Club he said that it has been conducting and sponsoring various tournaments, golf championships and organizing golf clinics from time to time.
He said the membership drive of the Association in different categories is open to any body desirous of becoming members of the club and can contact their respective clubs or to the Hony General Secretary directly.
