CCB shareholders to hold election on Aug 11

Shareholders of Citizens’ Co-operative Bank (CCB) will hold an election of the Bank Management on August 11. This was disclosed by Dinesh Gupta, and B.S. Manhas, Ex-chairman of the Bank in an interaction with media persons here today.
They said their major thrust will be on the development of the bank which is made by the people of Jammu for the upliftment of weaker section of the society.
The area of operation of the bank which is presently restricted to Jammu province will be extended to whole of the state.
They further said that at present Bank is having 11 branches and 4 extension counters and will introduce within a short period more branches will e opened including extension counters. Beside credit card system facilities will also be introduced for the benefit of small traders, drivers, cleaners etc. Loan will be provided for purchase of vehicles etc.
In addition Bank will be fully computerized with ATM facilities.
