| DDC Kishtwar conducts public darbar at Bonjwah | | |
KISHTWAR, JULY 21 - To redress the grievances on spot and provide relief to the public, District Development Commissioner Kishtwar Mr. Shahid Anayatullah conducted a public darbar at village Bonjwah the other day.
A large number of people has gathered and putforth their demands to DDC which include removal of bottlenecks in construction of Galondi- Bonjwah road being executed by PWD department.
The DDC also inspected the new site for construction of Mini Hydro-Power Project at Doradi village and redressed the grievances of land owners besides directing the Tehsildar to prepare the compensation papers of affected families within fifteen days.
During the darbar, the Assistant Commissioner Revenue Mr. A. K. Shavan informed the public about the salient feature of Roshni Act and asked the beneficiaries to deposit the requisite money at the earliest to effect the mutation attestation in their favour.
Enroute, the DDC also inspected various ongoing development works and assured them to hold such darbars also held in remotest parts of the district for addressing issues of common masses on spot.
