| Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ staged on day 5 of drama, festival | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 22 Balwant Thakur’s play ‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ was staged here today at Ahbhinav Theatre, The play sponsored by Airtel where Minister for youth Services and Sports Babu Singh was the Chief Guest. Natrang on its silver jubilee year is presenting country’s biggest fifteen day theatre festival featuring seventeen plays in collaboration with J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages. The Play ‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’, shakes parents, educationalist/guardians of society out of reverie of materialism, consumerism and unbridled desires. This play compels elders to look around and clear the mess they have created due to their own amorous ambitions. Parents see in their children an extension of their unfulfilled dreams and force them to become stereotypes and Kill bountiful charm in them. In a pursuit to make them doctors, engineers and I.A.S., they are subjected to every kind of cruelty. Play deals with contemporary problems that younger generations are up against from their own loved ones and surrounding. The children who enthralled the audience by their stunning performance were Sahil, Anand, Mayank Gupta, Sahitya Sharma, Aarushi Thakur, Aatish Gupta, Ruhi Singh, Sakshi Anand, Tanvi Sharma, Sunalika Jain, Juhi Singh, Smita Pandit, Gauri Thakur, Kibira Nasir, Prachika Kanotra, Mohit Sharma, Rohit Verma, Mohd. Yaseen Senior actors also appealed in special appearances which include Neeraj Kant, Deepak, Virdhi and Pawan Verma. Chief Guest appreciated the performances of the artists and honored them.
