SRINAGAR, JULY 22 (PTI)
Militants today shot dead a former colleague, who was released from jail recently, in Kupwara district of Jammu and Kashmir.
They also hurled a grenade at the residence of the former militant, Ghulam Mohammad Mir, at Bhawan village in Handwara area, a police spokesman said.
Mir was released recently from jail after completion of his detention. He was earlier arrested under Public Safety Act.
