| Two more commit suicide in Valley | | | Srinagar July 22: Two more persons including an eleventh class student and a woman ended their life in Valley on Sunday.
An eleventh class student ended his life by Jumping into river Jehlum in summer capital while a women committed suicide after consuming some poisonous substance at Rafiabad in North Kashmir district of Baramulla, Police sources told KMT
Giving details, sources said that some passer bys saw a Sikh teenaged boy moving suspiciously near Amirakadal on Jehlum, but before they could understand his intentions, boy jumped into the river.
People informed the police immediately who launched a search operation to retrieve the boy. However, police had not been able to recover the body as the boy is feared dead.
Identified as Inder Singh 18, son of Gurdeep Singh of Preetnagar Jammu, the boy was here during a visit his relatives. The deceased was a class eleven student at Dogra
The reasons behind taking such a drastic step by the teen aged boy were not immediately known.
Meanwhile, one Misra Begum, wife of Mohammad Ashraf Najar , resident of Shalkote Rafiabad consumed some poison substance.
The woman died on way to hospital. Police has registered a case in this connection and is investigating into the matter.
