The residents of Dyaran, Kanachak hold a protest rally and disrupted moment of traffic on Jammu-Akhnoor road, for several hams today.
According to reports people of the area were demanding immediate arrest of culprit nvolved in murdering of 55yrs old Bodhraj. So far police have been able to arrest only one culprit, Ramesh Singh, Alias Meshi, while six others are ales ending.
The Sharma was lifted when SSP, Jammu Mukesh Singh, SP rural Rajinder Gupta, and Dy SP Akhnoor, Ashok Sharma assured the people that all the culprits will be arrested soon. As per source their was some dispute on land.
After postmortem the body was handed out to family members for last night. A case under FIR No 81/2006 has been registered.
Meanwhile, on public demand SHO Kanachak has been attached with distt Police lives, till investigation in over.
