| Jugal inaugurates Guest House, Youth Hostel in Bhamag area | | | UDHAMPUR, JULY 23 The Minister for Rural Development, Mr. Jugal Kishore Sharma has asserted that the coalition government led by the Chief Minister, Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad is fully committed to solve the problems of the people and accelerate the tempo of developmental activities equitably according due priorities to remote and unattended areas of the state. The Minister was speaking at largely attended public meeting at Moungri in block Panchari of district Udhampur yesterday where a number of deputation called on him enroute Moungri at village Kalsote, Thathli , Deoli, Panjar, Kandoli etc. and apprised the Minister of their grievances and demands. The District Development Commissioner, Udhampur, Mr. O.P. Kalandria, Director, Rural Development, Jammu, Mr. Manoj Dewedi, Director Tourism, Jammu, Mr. Ajay Khauria and District Heads of RDD, PHE, PWD, Health, Agriculture, Horticulture, Social Welfare and Block Development Officer, Panchari accompanied the Minister. While assuring the people of Bhamagh in providing basic amenities of life like roads, drinking water and power supply, education and health care facilities on war footing, the Minister called upon them to make collaborate efforts in getting their demands acceded to from the government shunning all petty differences and rising above party politics so that developmental activities get a further boost in the area. Mr Jugal called upon the people to maintain communal amity and brotherhood and beware of false propaganda of vested interests who now feel demoralized with the day to day rapid growing popularity of Mr. Azad led government which has come up to the expectations of the people by implementing the commitments made under Common Minimum Programme (CMP). To save their skin and gain cheap popularity they are making false promises to befool the innocent people, he maintained. Other prominent persons who addressed the gathering included President, Municipal Council, Kathua, Mr. Naresh Sharma, General Secretary, Youth Congress, Narinder Sharma, Councilor, Brij Mohan Sharma, Shakeel Shah. The locals of Bhamagh area who spoke on the occasion included Sarpanch Ajit Singh of Badhota, Hoshiar Singh and Romesh Singh of Kalsote, Mr. Munshi Ram and Master Jai Praksh of Moungri who highlighted the achievements of coalition government and projected problems of the area. Earlier, the Minister also inaugurated a Guest House at village Kalsote and Youth Hostel at Kandoli ( Moungri) on Kainth-Gali Bhamag road constructed by J&K Tourism Department having three bed-room and 30 beds facility respectively with all required facilities to create tourism potential and generate the economy of the people of the area. Mr. Jugal also convened a meeting of officers at Youth Hostel, Moungri and said that this youth hostel would be of multi-purpose utility where the officers could hold awareness camps and other government sponsored programmes. He also took stock of progress of works under execution in block Panchari stressing upon them for their speedy completion in a transparent manner so that grievances of the people could be addressed.
