To create infrastructural facilities for the well being of the general masses at far-flung and hilly areas of Reasi district, a first meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti was convened at Government Degree College Reasi the other day.
Minister for Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Mr Jugal Kishore Sharma chaired the meeting. District Development Commissioner Reasi Mr Sanjeev Verma also present.
Threadbare discussions were held with regard to various issues including general awareness of Rural Health Mission, Rogi Kalyan Samities of community health centres and primary health centres, shortage of equipments in the laboratory, repair of ambulance, repair of water supply system, hospital wastage disposal, income of Rogi Kalyan Samiti, shortage of safai karamcharies and installation of generator etc.
The Minister sanctioned one new ambulance for the Sub District Hospital Reasi.
Chief Medical Officer, Udhampur/Reasi, Block Medical Officer Reasi, Katra, Pouni and Tikri, BMO, PHC, Tote, Bharakh, Bhambla, CDPO, Pouni, Reasi, ZEO, Reasi, Pouni and Katra, AEE R&B, PDD and PHE, President Municipal Committee, Katra, ICDS supervisiors, ASHAS, NGOs and prominent citizens also attended the meeting.
