| Arrangement for Budha Amarnath Yatra reviewed | | |
POONCH, JULY 23
In connection with ensuing Shri Budha Amarnath Ji Yatra in Mandi Rajpura Poonch, the DDC Mr. J. S. Pacnanda who is also the chairman of Shri Budha Amarnath Trust convened a high level meeting of district and Tehsil officers to review the arrangements of Shri Budha Amarnath Yatra here this morning.
The DDC issued instruction to police, Medical, PHE, PDD and R&B authorities to make adequate arrangements for smooth conduct of yatra. He also made certain committees comprising members of all religious to monitor the boarding and lodging arrangements for yatries at Surankote, Chandak, Poonch and Mandi. He directed the President of Municipal Committee, Poonch to sanitize the area both at Dashnami Akhara Poonch and Mandi and personally monitor the other arrangements made for the yatries.
