Respect Bloeria commission recommendations: Mangat

KATHUA, JULY 23
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Mr Mangat Ram Sharma conducted a tour of Ghagwal and addressed a public meeting in the premises of Shri Narsingh Dev Ji temple at Ghagwal here today.
Vice Chairman SC/ST Advisory Board, MLA, Hiranagar, Mr. Girdhari Lal were also present on the occasion.
It is pertinent to mention here that the people of Ghagwal are demanding tehsil status to Ghagwal.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Mangat Ram Sharma said that we should respect the recommendations made by Bloeria Commission in selecting the boundaries of tehsils and blocks as well. He said that Ghagwal deserves tehsil status and urged the people to unitedly approach the commission for the purpose. Mr. Sharma said that some areas of tehsil Ramnagar, Hiranagar, Bishnah Tehsils will be included in district Samba. He exhorted upon the people to unite and fight for the common cause. Mr. Sharma apprised the people that Additional Tehsildar is being posted at Ghagwal so that the people may not suffer.
Mr Sharma while speaking on the occasion said that the coalition government headed by its dynamic leader Mr. Ghulam Nabi Azad is committed for equal and balanced development of all the three regions of the state. He said that Kathua will soon get one hospital like AIIMS in private sector in which 25% seats will be reserved for Jammu and Kashmir. He said that recently new degree colleges have been opened in the state as well in the district Kathua
He said that the government is also committed for better development of far flung and hilly areas and has taken various effective measures to explore tourism potential in Bani and Sarthal to bring them on tourism map.
He advised the youth to desist from bad habits like drinking, smoking and drug editions and stressed for giving proper education to girl children for the betterment of the society as well as the country.
Vice Chairman SC/ST Advisory Board, MLA, Hiranagar Mr. Gardhari Lal who also spoke on the occasion said that we will approach to the government for tehsil status for Ghagwal as this is a genuine demand of the public.
Among others, SSP, Kathua, Tehsildar Samba, Chairman, Tehsil Action Committee Ghagwal, District President Congress, Panches and Sarpanches and large number of people were also present on the occasion.
