M. Jan, MLA Poonch. Highlighting his political career, they said that Mr. Jan always rendered stupendous service for the people and the state. The Chairman, Speaker and the Ministers also condoled the demise of ex-Chief Secretary Mr. R. K. Takkar. The Ministers prayed for peace to departed souls and courage for bereaved families to bear this irreparable loss. State Secretary CPI (M) and MLA Kulgam Mr. M. Y. Tarigami has expressed his heartfelt condolence on the demise of Mr. G. M. Jan, MLA Poonch. While conveying condolences to the family members of deceased, Mr. Tarigami expressed that late Mr. G. M. Jan was a man of high qualities, a brilliant legislator who always stood for the cause of the masses, particularly of the downtrodden masses and people living in far-flung and hilly areas of J&K state. Mr. Tarigami also expressed his grief over the demise of ex-Chief Secretary Mr. R. K. Takkar.
