| Youth trying to ex-filtrate held, | | Urge to meet relatives force him to cross LOC | |
Jammu, July 23: Security personnel on guard along Line of Control during late night hours on Sunday arrested a youth in Pooch sector when he was trying to cross other side of the Line to enter Pakistan.
Sources said that Army personnel on guard noticed a youth moving in suspicious circumstances and challenged him. The youth tried to cross to other side but he was apprehended, they said.
The accused has been identified as 25-year-old Mohammad Bashir Khan of Ghaloti village in Poonch. During preliminary interrogation youth said that he wanted to meet his relations living across the line in POK.
Youth was later handed over to police for further investigation.
