| Gurmeet Samagam held in Valley | | |

A team of 15 Ragis and Parcharks was deputed to Kashmir Valley by the President Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, S. Parmjit Singh Sarna for Gurmeet Parchar under the supervision of Mahant Manjit Singh Ji of Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch.
According to the reports the Gurmat Samagams were organized at Budgam, Kupwara, Baramulla, Srinagar and Pulwama, where Sikh Sangat in large number participated.
Amrit Sanchar was organized at Baramulla Ashram of Sant Bhai Rocha Singh Ji where 250 Sikhs were baptized. All the religious Gurdwara Committees and political parties rendered full support to these samagams.
Shiromani Khalsa Dal, Kashmir the main organizer of the Samagam and the President Master Mohan Singh of Shiromani Khalsa Dal, Kashmir supervised all these functions. All the Sikh Sangat of Kashmir highly appreciated the role and efforts of Mahant Manjit Singh for preaching the Sikhism in Kashmir Valley and they also offered their fullest support to Shiromani Dera Nangali Sahib, Poonch in imparting religious and technical education.
