| JSSM pays tributes to Chandra Shekhar Azad | | |

Tributes were paid to Chandra Shekhar Azad on his 101st birth anniversary by activists of the Jammu State Students Morcha (JSSM) at Jammu University campus here today.. The JSSM activists also distributed sweets among the students of campus on the occasion..
Meenakshi Kilam, Director Centre Quality Assurance said that there is a need to propagate Azad’s ideas by translating his documents in all Indian languages. Paying tributes, Kilam said the Azad along with other martyrs were great patriots of the country who had launched an effective struggle to root out the British rule from the country. The patriots had to undergo a lot of hardships and sacrificed their lives for the motherland.
BPS Sehgal Dean Academic Affairs speaking on the occasion exhorted the younger generation to remember the sacrifices of the martyrs and seek inspiration from their bravery and patriotism.
Others who were present on the occasion included Vikas Sharma (JSSM) president, Sunil and JP Singh Jorel Hostel Warden.
