| Natrang stages ‘Comedy of Terror’s | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu July 23, On the sixth day of Natrang’s Silver Jubilee theatre festival, play ‘Comedy of Terror’s written by Diario Fo was staged at Abhinav theatre sponsored by Nitco Group here today. The story of the play revolves around in industrialist ‘Bidla’ who has liaison with ultras, involved in series of bomb blasts that rocked Bombay few years back. To escape official interest and to get few undesirable demands met, he masterminds his own abduction. While carrying out his plan, he meets with a gracious road accident. Shaligram, a welder and Union leader in the factory of ‘Bidla’ is witness to that gory accident. The impact of accident is such that car caches fire and face of ‘Bidla’ is burnt beyond recognition. Oblivious to fact that person concerned is his employer; Shaligram wraps the victim in his own coat to put out fire and takes him to the hospital. Anil Tikoo who played double role amazed the audience, Sunita Pandita as Savitri, Neeraj Kant as Inspector, Pankaj Sharma as doctor 1, Mohit Sharma as Doctor 2, Pankhuri Sharma as Kavita, Rohit Verma as Sipahi and Gaurav Jamwal as Dummy were very impressive in putting life to their respective characters. At the conclusion of the show two top functionaries of Nitco Roadways, Sudhir Nanda, Commercial Director and S.K. Dutaa, Director corporate were honoured by Natrang on the occasion. The honors were presented by Rakesh Gupta and Natrang Director Balwant Thakur who was the Chief Guest.
