| I-Day arrangements finalized at Kupwara | | |
Srinagar, August 11 – Arrangements for the celebration of Independence Day in Kupwara were finalized in an officers meeting held under the chairmanship of the District Development Commissioner, Kupwaras A.M. Khanday here today.
It was decide that the function will start with shahnaiwadan followed by the flag hoisting by the chief guest. The march past will be presented by contingents of JKP, JKAP, CRPF, IRP, BSF, NCC, and school children.
The artists of Information Department and school children will present a variety of cultural programmes on the occasion.
The District Development Commissioner stressed upon the officers to work in unison so that the function concludes successfully. Additional District Development Commissioner, Kupwara was also present. |
