To celebrate the victory of Pratibha Pati, first woman President of India,
Mahila Congress Committee Jammu (Urban) organized a function at party headquarters here today.
The meeting presided over by Raj Bakshi-President Mahila Congress was attended by several prominent Mahila leaders of the district.
Vice President PCC- Dharam Paul Sharma, Ravinder Sharma, S. Amolak Singh, Baldev Sharma and other PCC leaders also participated in the meeting and congratulated Pratibha Patil on becoming President of the country. The workers hailed it as a victory of the secular and democratic forces and congratulated Sonia Gandhi.
Among others who participated in the function included Kiran Anand, Joyti Vaid, Kamlesh Gupta, Darshana, Amrito, Bimla Devi, Chanchala Devi, Santosh Devi, Joginder and Puran Devi.
