| One dies, four injured in accidents | | |
Jammu | July 23
One person died and four got serious injuries in two separate accidents. According to reports today a truck no PB32A/0592 which was on its way from Punjab to Jammu hit a scooter coming from opposite side at Rajbagh in which one person namely Makhan Lal son of Babu Ram resident of Ward No 16, Kathua died on spot and other one namely Girdhari Lal son of Parkash Chand got serious injuries. After the accident a police team rushed to spot and took the injured to hospital for treatment and also registered a case in this regard. Meanwhile in another accident three persons got serious injuries at Poonch. According to reports the accident took place at Sher-e-Kashmir Bridge when a motorcycle and a scooter collided with each other. The injured have been identified as Navel Sharma son of Rakesh Sharma resident of Ward No 2, Poonch, Gurvinder Singh son of Kuldeep Singh resident of Dra and Guljeet Sigh son of Ranjeev Singh resident of Poonch. They have been admitted in Government Medical College for treatment.
