| Chopra murder case: SIT returns with clues | | | Jammu | July 23 The Special Investigation Team (SIT) investigating the cement tycoon Rajinder Bhushan Chopra’s murder today returned here with some important clues in the case. The team came back today after spending days in MP and Andra Predesh where it questioned various suspects with the help of local police teams. Reports said the SIT along with local police teams interrogated many criminals in other states and got various important clues. Sources said an IPS officer along with a DSP rank officer and some other police personal interrogated a number of suspects in these states before arriving back to Jammu today evening. According to sources, Police is still working on the theory that killers were called from outside the state on the behest of some locals to eliminate Chopra and during the investigation of the case police has also arrested some persons from other states and now they were in district jail. Police is also questioning Chopra’s relative, partners and former partners. It is to mention that on the intervening night of September 17 lat, some unidentified persons murdered Raju Chopra along with four others including his wife and daughter. Thereafter the murderers fled away taking his car and till date they are untraced. Several teams were constituted thereafter to unravel the murder mystery but every thing went in vein. Now Police is working on this new theory. Since then more than ten months have been passed but Police is still clueless.
