| Arrangements finalized for Dalai Lama’s visit | | |

To have first hand information about the arrangements being made for the visit of Dalai Lama to Diskit and Yarma Gonba in the first week of August, the chief executive Councilor LAHDC-Leh, Chering Dorje visited Nubra today.
Immediately on arrival he called a meeting of officers, who gave full details about the arrangements being made for the visit.
He assurd the meeting that petrol, diesel, ration and gas cylinderd would be made available to the devotees during the holy sermon of Dalai Lama at Diskit.
Dorje also directed the superintending engineer to complete the Gonpa road within week. He also visited Diskit Gonpa and on spot issued instruction to the concerned agencies to complete the remaining works, well in time.
