| Absconding cashier arrested, money recovered | | |

Bari Brahamana police arrested one absconding cashier working in a factory at Bari Brahamana from Utter Pradesh and recovery cash from his possession. The absconder identified as Om Parkash Gohar son of Dannush Dhari Gihar, resident of Amari Bazar, District Koushi Nagar (UP) was working as a cashier in Allubond Factory at Bari Brahmna had decamped with over Rs.2.50 lakh cash from the factory on October 21 last year and was absconding since then.
The owner of factory lodged a FIR in this regard in Bari Brahmna police station and police started investigating the matter. A police team from Bari Brahamana Police station was rushed to UP to apprehend the absconder and after hectic efforts the police succeeded in nabbing the accused. The entire operation was conducted by police team headed by SHO Bari Brahamana Khaliq Choudhary under the supervision of SP South Z. N. Manhas and SDPO Bari Brahamana V.S. Kundal.
On his disclosure, the stolen cash amounting to Rs.2.50 lakh was recovered from his possession.
