| 2 suspects nabbed near Amphalla jail | | |

Counter Intelligence personnel today picked up two suspects near Amphalla Jail when they were returning after meeting a prisoner. According to sources today afternoon CI team received a specific information and after that the team laid a trap near Amphalla Jail where it picked two persons namely Matloob Ahmed and Shamas Din who were coming out from the jail after meting a prisoner namely Abdul Qasim son of Matloob Ahmed. The detainee was arrested by Railway police on June 28 in a theft case.
Sources said the suspects were taken to some unknown destination for questioning and after preliminary inquiry both the suspects were sent to JIC for further interrogation. Sources added that the duo was involved in some more cases and their interrogation was on when the reports last came in.
