| Govt should vacate accommodation from forces: Peerzada | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 24 Pradesh Congress Committee President Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed has said that all the government and private buildings, orchards and land under the occupation of the security forces need to be vacated wherever the local situation permit, otherwise the compensation and the rent of private accommodation needs to be enhanced. Addressing a day long meeting of the District Congress Committee Jammu (Urban) here today, the PCC chief said that state government has been constantly regularly continuing the process of the vacation of government and private buildings including schools, hotels, hostels and orchids. Adding 112 such accommodations have been got vacated during the last one and half year. These steps are taken keeping in view the regular and time to time monitoring of the improving situation as a process of non-violence and confidence building measures. However, there is no scope for politicking on this subject and process is carried out by overall review of the situation taking into account the views and needs of the security experts and without jeopardizing the security of the common citizen. Referring to the issue of Kashmir Migrants the PCC President said that state and the center government is aware of the sufferings of the migrant community and to provide better living conditions to them a satellite township at Jagti is being developed till the situation becomes conducive for their return to the valley.
