| Judicial employees differ over strike | | |
Jammu, July 25: In a general meeting of the Judicial employees held here under the chairmanship of Mr. Anil Kumar Suri district president Jammu in which newly elected presidents of District Kathua, Udhampur and Ramban also participated and decided that the judicial employees of Jammu Province will not go on strike as the call given by the State President. In the meeting convener of all J&K Employees Welfare Association Jammu Province Mohammad Sultan while addressing the meeting said that self style provincial president Mangat Ram Parihar has no locus-standi in the association who has given the two days unwarranted token strike call against the High Court authorities. The convener further stated that the employees of the Jammu Province are not supporting the call given by self-style provincial president. According to Anil Suri District President the employees of District Jammu have unanimously decided not to observe any strike and they will perform their duties. The District President further told the employees that the decision taken by the Kashmir leadership of the employees have not taken the employees of the Jammu Province in the confidence while deciding the drastic step of strike.
