| BJP protests against irregular supply of essential commodities. | | |

BJP activists continued their protest demonstration here today against the Consumer Affairs and Public Distribution Department for its alleged failure in providing essential commodities like Atta, sugar and rice to the people.
The protestors were led the Gangyal Mandal President, Vinay Gupta Gupta. .
Addressing the demonstrators Gupta charged the department of its callous attitude and alleged that the black marketing of the rations was continuing unabated leaving the bonafide consumers high and dry. He said the department was non serious about the problems facing the consumers and maintained that the people have been deprived of rations for the last two months as no stocks are available in the ration depots.
Warning of initiating stern action against those indulging in black marketing, the BJP leader has asked the department to ensure availability of essentials at the depots at the earliest so that the people could heave a sigh a relief.
