| New Divisional Commander of LeT appointed | | Abu Akasha after Abu Umar | |

Hardly within the seven days from the killing of its Divisional Commander and All India coordinator Abu Umar alias Khalid code Ulfa 2 in an encounter at Bhaderwah, the LeT high command has appointed Abu Akasha alias Doctor, a Pakistani national as its new divisional commander who has been working in the state for the last over a decade. Sources also said that the outfit has also appointed a local militant as Dy Commander.
Sources further disclosed that newly appointed divisional commander Abu Akasha had escaped during the encounter in which Abu Umar was killed .It is also believed that Abu Akasha is very close to the higher ups of the LeT and is a well known criminal from the Pakistan and involved in many killings and other militancy activities in the state.
Sources informed that after taking over the charge, the newly appointed divisional commander is likely to give new shape and directions to the LeT cadres and its functioning in the state.. Sources said that the new commander is likely to set up its hide outs in rual areas instead of the higher reaches so that the terrorist activities will get boost in cities and LeT can show its presence in the District Doda .For this the LET is also starting appointing new qualified cadres who will work in the cities and many youth of the area were also reportedly in touch with him. The LET new divisional commander is a trained computer operator and well qualified and security agencies have already received some valuable information about him.
It is learnt from the sources that he has ordered his cadres not to carry any activity and adopt a low key till more and more people are enrolled in the cadre to make it a strong network Sources also claimed that LeT terrorists are also not believing the HM cadres and called them traitors and agents of the Indian government. Here is mention that some time back many militants of HM and LeT were killed during clashes with each other. Sources further reveled that the LeT cadres are starting uniting in different parts of the District Doda and in far off areas and making the strategies for appointment of new cadres and are also holding various meetings with each other. Militants are starting assembling in the whole district Doda included Kishtwar, Ramban and other parts of the state and are farming the further course of action. Terrorists are making a plan to disrupt the communal harmony of the state, sources added. Sources said that their head who is sitting on other side of border has given clear direction to their cadre active in the state to hire more and more youth for grenades attack on Hindu religious places and other places and also intensify attacks on security forces.
The sources further said immediately after his appointment as Divisional Commandar, Abu Akasha has started touring different parts of the Doda district to interact with its cadres .He is reported to have given fresh directions for intensifying attacks on security forces and targeting the people to create communal divide in the state.
