| Distt Boxing Championship begins today | | |

JAMMU| July 25: Around 31boxers in different weight categories took part in the two-day district Jammu Boxing Championship held at M A Stadium, here today.
The championship was declared open by the chief guest Nirmolak Singh General Secretary J&K Amateur Boxing Association.
The results under the different weight categories included:
Arun Sharma beat Robin in the first bout up to 30 Kg weight category. In 30-33 wt. Category Sumit Sharma won the second bout defeating Anil Sharma on points while in the final bout of 30-36wt. category Sahil Thappa thrashed Suresh Sharma on points.
The match was officiated under the supervision of Rajan Sharma, Anil Wadera, Sachin Chalotra and Sanjeev Sharma
