| 2 died, 3 injured in separate road mishaps | | | Srinagar July 26: proving total failure of authorities in managing the traffic to save precious lives all across the state, two more children lost their lives while three others were injured in separate road accidents across the valley. Sources quoting police said that a speedy Tractor bearing registration number JK03/5095 hit and injured a boy namely Kamran Shabir 7 , son of Shabir Ahmad Shah, resident of Toolinowpora, Kulgam. The injured, in critical condition was shifted to Srinagar for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries, sources said. Police has registered a Case in this regard and investigations are on. Another child lost her life in separate road accident when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK04/9799 hit and injured a girl namely Ishrat, daughter of Ab Karim, resident of Shilvat at Shilvat, Ganderbal, police sources said. The injured in serious condition was shifted to hospital where she succumbed to her injuries. Police has registered a Case in this regard and investigations are on. Meanwhile driver of a load carrier was injured when a Truck bearing registration number JK01A/1561 on its way from Srinagar to Anantnag hit a Load Carrier bearing registration number JK05A/4012 at Halmulla, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Bijbehara. The injured driver has been identified as Sadiq Sofi son of Mohd Subhan resident of Pattan Barammulla. Sources said that a pedestrian, namely Ab Majid also got injured in the process. Police has registered a case in this regard. In yet another similar incident, police sources said that a girl was critically injured when a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK03A/4978 hit a girl Bijbehara- Srigufwara road. The girl, identified as Kushboo, daughter of Irshad Ahmad Rather, resident of Nowshara has been hospitalized. Police has registered a Case in this regard.
