| Militants behead villagers in Ramban | | |
Ramban, July 26
In a bizarre incident a man was beheaded by some unidentified gun men believed to be militants in a far off village in Ramban district.
Identifying the victim as Mohammad Ibrahim, sources in police said that he was killed on the suspicion of being an informer.
Sources said that a group of four armed men made forced entry into the house of Ibrahim, 45, at village Sumber about 15 kilometers from main Ramban town.
The armed men locked other family members inside the house and took the Ibrahim, into near by fields. The other family members could find the beheaded body Ibrahim only today morning when they managed to break open the door, said the sources. .
Police has launched a manhunt to nab the militants responsible for the brutal killing.
