| CCB elections: Hectic activities begin | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 26 To elect new board of directors for Citizen’s Co-operative Bank (CCB) hectic activities among the various candidates have started vigorously. The elections are being held on August 11 to elect nine directors for the bank. Ex. Chairman of the bank, Ram Sahai, while introducing his team at a press conference today for the directors post, said, ‘if our group wins’, a lot of changes will take place for the betterment of the bank, which include to restore and enhance the image of bank. He said steps will be taken to bring back those depositors and borrowers who have excellent track record, but have left the bank. He further said in every district headquarters of the province new branches will be opened, so as to generate local employment and steps would be taken in making it a scheduled bank. He added all the branches will be upgraded and modernized with best facilities. During the press conference he also introduced the team members who are to contest the elections. They include Ashok Gupta, Bansi Lal Gupta, Deepak Gupta, Koshul Kumar, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Om Prakash, Rajiv Choni, Surinder Gupta and Ram Sahai.
