| Trooper commits suicide near LoC | | | Baramulla, July 27
An army personnel, deployed on a forward post along the Line of Control, committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon in Uri sector, this morning.
Sources informed that the Sepoy, who was said be in a state of depression from last few days, committed suicide inside a Border Observation Post.
Giving details sources said that Head Constable Vijay Kumar of Samba, Jammu shot himself dead with his service weapon at Mick Post, this morning.
His colleagues rushed to the post after hearing the gun shot and found him in a pool of blood. He was rushed to an army hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
Police said that it has registered a case and started investigation.
