| Grass root workers ignored: Lal Singh, Dharam Pal Sharma | | | Early Times Reporter Jammu | July 27 The day-long political convention of the Congress also witnessed allegations of party workers being ignored by the party bigwigs. Former MP, Dharam Pal Sharma in his address at the convention said that the grass-root level workers were ignored and the higher-ups were not giving ear to their genuine problems. Sitting MP, Lal Singh said whenever a worker tries to contact a minister, he is always unreachable. ‘Mobile phones of the ministers are either switched off or on divert mode’. He further said that instead of strengthening the party at grass-root level some leaders are bent upon to weaken the party from inside.
